Album Art

Man of My Dreams

Singles

These four covers are for the releases of single versions of songs from my album “Man of My Dreams”. After creating two projects before, I realized that the art mainly consisted of blues and greens. For this project I wanted to make a switch and use warmer colors while still creating a visual that matched the tone and themes of the songs.

With these three songs, I found inspiration in nature.

”love on the moon” is from my second EP, this cover was later turned into the cover art for that EP with some changes. I loved the colors and visual identity that this imagery had and knew it couldn’t just be for a single.

“ring of daisies” is a song about being present and grounded. I photographed a spot that I liked to visit near a lake as it felt calming and relaxing and matched the themes of the song.

“flicker” is about my friend group in college. How you can meet people who you will love for the rest of your life, but your time together, especially in a setting like college, can be finite. For the imagery I photographed a spot where we would spend time together as a way to immortalize what eventually would come to end.

“s.s. charlie” was one of the first singles that I released. It is currently the only album art that is fully illustrated. The song is whimsical and cartoonish. To match that, I knew I wanted to illustrate a key element of the song, which is a submarine.

Five Seconds Flat
CD Package

This was a project for school. The concept was to redesign an album cover and create the packaging for a CD. I chose to go for one of my favorite artists, Lizzy McAlpine, and redesigned her
Five Seconds Flat album art.

I was used songs from the album as inspiration for what the art should look like. The main songs were “doomsday”, “erase me”, “reckless driving”, and “all my ghosts”.
